While Pūtahi Festival plans to go ahead with public performances at Alert Level 1, it is up to the individual comfortability of the artists and staff to discuss whether each showing of work will be happening.

Pūtahi Festival will be in contact with ticket holders if any showing of work gets postponed or cancelled.

As alternating Alert Levels can cause a lot of mental, emotional and financial stress on people and their households, please get in touch as soon as you feel uncomfortable or not longer wish to attend a showing of work.

Due to the nature of the venue, Pūtahi Festival will become it's own unique bubble. It is possible for the festival to remain in the downstairs areas of Te Whaea: Dance & Drama Centre without heading into the main foyer or rehearsal rooms of the schools. Please keep this in mind and spend the majority of your time where possible in the common room or your allocated performance space.

Pūtahi Festival artists, staff and audiences will abide by Te Whaea: Dance & Drama Centre staff and team's rules and regulations around managing Alert Levels, COVID-19 and any other health & safety issues that may arise. We are manuhiri in their space and will respect their calls for the safety of their schools and venue.

This plan is subject to change depending on Alert Levels and regulations at the time.
